Watched that spurs 69 one last night.... STATE OF THAT PITCH.... I think Greavsie was on one of his pissed days... some cracking misses... bloke I sit next to is old skool Spurs and he was at that game... said he cannot remember Greavsie missing a pen until that game

If it wasn't for the poxy weather in 85/86 we would have won the league. We had to play 7 games in March, 9 in April.

Great watch this, game had everything more or less, great comeback from 2-4 down at UP.
I forgot just how good Di Canio was until I watched this again, I mean Payet has magic in his boots but Di Canio used to run and take players on and beat them almost every time, different players but would have been amazing to have them playing together.
Loved his mentalist passion, should have had 3 penalties and demanded to be substituted but was told to get on with it. Then wrestled the ball off Lampard for the penalty, buried it and preceded to give him a bollocking, even though Lampard was chosen to take them by Redknapp as Di Canio missed the last one.
Sinclair was also a stand out quality back then.
